In 1980, Scott Braun began making aluminum stock car bodies for himself and a few of his friends. Soon, word got around about these lighter, yet stronger stock car bodies and an enormous amount of interest was shown.

Some 30 years later, Performance Bodies has become a leader in the manufacturing of aluminum stock car bodies, along with stocking a HUGE warehouse full of racecar parts.
From the beginning Performance Bodies was built with the weekly racer in mind! Being weekly racers ourselves we know how important it is to have access to quality parts and great service. Each year we dedicate a large portion of man-hours to research product lines that will fit in with our customer’s needs, while continuing to provide the best service you will find anywhere.
